Description
The Growatt SPF 6000 ES Plus is a hybrid/off-grid inverter that can simultaneously operate with solar panels, the utility grid, and batteries. This single-phase inverter delivers a rated power of 6 kW, making it an excellent choice for residential and small commercial applications.
It has a 48V battery input and comes with a 100A MPPT solar charger, allowing direct charging of 48V lithium or lead-acid batteries. With dual independent MPPT trackers, the inverter optimizes solar generation even when panels are installed at different orientations or under varying light conditions. The maximum solar PV input capacity is around 8 kW.
A key advantage of this model is its flexibility: it can charge batteries from both solar and the grid (or a generator). It can even operate without batteries, supplying loads directly from solar and grid power. The inverter also supports high surge power (up to twice its rated output for a few seconds), enabling smooth startup of power-hungry appliances.
The SPF 6000 ES Plus also supports parallel operation of up to 6 units, making it possible to scale up the system’s total output when more power is required.
For connectivity, it includes RS485 and CAN ports for communication with smart batteries, as well as options for WiFi or GPRS modules for remote monitoring and control.
